We need volunteers! At any given time, we have one or more active committees that need dedicated members and directors. We will also post here if we are searching for new Board members or volunteers to work events. Follow this page for new postings, and contact us if you are interested in a position.

Sitting Board Member

We are currently accepting applications for a sitting Board member, with a term beginning in January. This is a two-year (minimum) position. Our current Board has established The Opal Center as a 501(c)3 and is working on raising operating funds so we can expand our important work. If you think you can contribute, and you can commit to one hour a month plus the occasional event, please download the application and return it to theopalcenterwf@gmail.com.

Volunteer - Meeting Facilitator

Volunteers are needed to facilitate support group meetings. These meetings will usually take place on weekday evenings between 6:00 and 8:00 P.M. Facilitators will be responsible for unlocking the door; putting out signs; ensuring that attendees sign in and complete group agreements; preparing coffee/refreshments; and hosting the group itself by introducing new attendees and ensuring that everyone has an opportunity to share. If you are interested in volunteering for this position, please e-mail theopalcenterwf@gmail.com
